The food is awful at Sonic. I got a chili dog, which was the cheapest quality hot dog possible topped with a covering that tasted like wallboard paste. I also got a Chili Frito wrap, which was those 2 ingredients rolled up in a tortilla. Both went in the trash after one bite. I don't understand the preoccupation with fast food in this area. It is not good.

On the other hand, the fruit drinks at Sonic are excellent. I had a cherry limeade that was really good.

As much as I like Sonic, I think winter snowstorms would deter business. Virtually all of them are in areas with limited winter snowfall. BTW, they have one in Aurora now.

My wife is still waiting for a White Castle to open in Rockford, and/or a Portillo's, so we don't have to drive to Dekalb. Either of those should do well here.

I can only assume that she takes advantage of the inevitable malodorous colonic eruptions to chase you and your inevitable malodorous oral eruptions out of the room.

My extreme intellect, extraordinary common sense, unsurpassed personal charm, and great personal modesty, more than make up for my dislike of the onions in their sliders, in her opinion .
I do like the White Castle's fish sandwiches.
